Build a Bunker Controls

Movement and camera

On PC, use WASD to move and Space to jump. Hold Shift to sprint when you have stamina — critical for loot runs and reaching bunker doors before radiation peaks. Mouse controls camera; right-click drag or lock shift depending on your Roblox settings.

Mobile uses a virtual joystick on the left and swipe-to-look on the right side of the screen. Jump and sprint buttons sit near the joystick. Lower sensitivity if you overshoot aim during combat; raise it if you cannot track fast mutants in tight alleys on the town map.

Combat and weapons

Left-click fires ranged weapons or performs melee swings. R to reload when carrying compatible ammo. Number keys 1–9 or scroll wheel swap hotbar tools — configure in Roblox inventory settings if scroll feels inconsistent.

Aim down sights (if supported on your equipped ranged weapon) usually maps to right-click. Melee players should hug cover and use corner peeks because blocking may be inconsistent compared to dedicated melee titles. See our weapon tier list for gear worth mastering.

Interaction and looting

E or tap the interact prompt opens doors, loots crates, talks to NPCs, and uses bunker stations. Hold E on some containers for channelled searches. When multiple prompts overlap, face the desired object directly to avoid triggering the wrong action.

Inventory opens with Tab on PC or the backpack icon on mobile. Drag items to hotbar slots for quick access to food, medicine, and building materials. Sort high-priority loot before leaving shops so you do not drop valuables mid-sprint.

Bunker building UI

Inside the bunker, open the build menu from the terminal or hammer icon. Select room blueprints like power, sell, or recycle, then place them on valid grid tiles. Rotate pieces with R or the rotate button before confirming.

Upgrade prompts appear when you interact with installed rooms. Keep materials in linked storage rooms; running back to surface crates slows progression. The room tier list helps decide which stations to bind to hotkeys via walking paths rather than remapping keys.

Vehicles and special actions

Enter vehicles with E when the prompt shows. Driving uses WASD or mobile joystick; handbrake may map to Space for sharp turns escaping raider convoys. Exiting quickly prevents getting trapped during nuke timers — pair with our nuke timer tool.

Emotes and voice chat follow default Roblox bindings (`.` emote menu, voice if enabled). Squad coordination during multiplayer survival benefits from push-to-talk if Roblox voice is active in your region.

Recommended PC keybind tweaks

Roblox allows rebinding in the experience only when developers expose custom menus. If unavailable, use Roblox client settings for basic sensitivity and shift-lock. Many players enable shift-lock for steadier aiming in third-person and disable it while building for wider camera pan.
